Boglárka Cserni, icensed psychologist, a certified autogenic training facilitator & PhD candidate

Chartered psychologist, autogenic training practitioner, university lecturer

Welcome,

My name is Boglárka Cserni, I’m a licensed psychologist, a certified autogenic training facilitator, and a PhD candidate.

My professional path is rooted in a deep curiosity and respect for the human mind. I’m inspired by our capacity to tap into hidden inner resources—even during life’s most difficult moments—and I believe that the potential for change exists within everyone. In my work, I strive to create a supportive environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your challenges and questions, while I help you discover your inner strength and move toward growth and self-development.

My professional interests are guided by a desire to understand the powerful connection between mental and physical processes. I am fascinated by how profoundly our inner world can influence our physical health—and vice versa. In my counselling sessions, I often incorporate methods such as autogenic training and suggestive communication to support an inner balance even in challenging times.

I place great value on continuous professional development. I am currently pursuing my PhD at the Doctoral School of Psychology at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and am a member of the Behavioral Medicine and Research Credibility Lab. My doctoral research focuses on the psychological treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

Previously, I gained clinical experience as a psychology intern in various hospital departments and began my professional career as a school psychologist.

I offer support in the following areas:

  • Navigating life challenges

  • Self-awareness, communication, and interpersonal development

  • Improving quality of life while living with chronic conditions
(e.g., irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, high blood pressure, endometriosis, sleep difficulties)
